Water purification from iron ions
An increased content of iron ions in tap water is one of the most common problems associated with the quality of drinking and domestic water.
Iron ions contained in water are not only toxic to humans, but also have a negative effect on water supply systems (pipelines, shut-off and control valves), household appliances and dishes.
Ion exchange materials PANION® purify water effectively both of ions of dissolved iron Fe2+ and oxidized iron Fe3+.
Materials PANION for water purification from iron ions
Panion 110 — removal of iron ions, water softening
Fibrous ion exchanger PANION 110
PANION 110 — weak-acid fibrous cation exchanger, an analogue of well-known trademarks VION, FIBAN, MION.
Applications:
- Air purification from volatile substances of base nature: ammonia, amines, alkalis etc. Panion 110 can be applied in industrial and domestic air cleaning systems;
- Water purification from the ions of heavy metals, water softening;
- Human protective means (respirators, gas-masks, protective costumes etc): removal of vapors of ammonia and amines.
